It’s no secret that I love sharing my personal experiences. That’s why this week I wanted to share some of the best places to shop in Possum Kingdom and surrounding areas. As a small business owner myself, I find it important to support other small business owners, especially ones that live in the community with me. So, if you haven’t had the chance to check out some of these spots, then head on over there when you get the chance and be sure to share your experience with me!
The Market at 76067
Located only 25 minutes away from Possum Kingdom in the town of Mineral Wells, The Market at 76067 is a 12,000 sqft showroom that features an adjoining flower shop and coffee bar. As you walk through the showroom, you’ll ohh and aww over the adorable signs, fall in love with the scented candles, and find a coffee mug for everyone you know. With so many gifts and accessories to choose from, this will be one place that you’ll want to revisit again and again.
Fabulous Finds PK
One of favorite places to visit in Possum Kingdom is Fabulous Finds PK. Donna, the owner, does a fabulous job with offering unique items that offer a festive flair. Similar to The Market at 76067, you’ll love the home décor, beautiful paintings, and the specialty foods and cocktail mixes. Find everything you need to decorate your lake house in style!
The Vineyard Branch
Established in 1979, The Vineyard Branch was designed in such a way that when a customer enters all five of their senses are engaged. If you’re looking for a complete shopping experience in Graham, the Vineyard Branch is your go-to shop. As a faith-based business, this quaint giftshop offers everything from home décor to everyday gifts.
The Trading Post
If you’re looking for the ultimate family-owned business, The Trading Post is the place to shop. This 6,000 sqft shopping center has been a staple in Graham since 1963 and they’re open 365 days a year. Whether you live near the lake or you’re visiting for the weekend, The Trading Post offers everything from locally sourced groceries to fishing and camping gear. What makes The Trading Post one of the best places to shop in Possum Kingdom is their sole focus is their customers, so if you’re ever in need of something and they don’t carry it, they will do what they need to do to get in stock.
Historic Downtown Weatherford
When you’re ready to spend your afternoon looking at pieces with a story, then Historic Downtown Weatherford is the place to visit. With so many antique shops and restaurants, I couldn’t pick just one. Antiques on Main Street offers 3-stories of collectibles form fourth-generation Weatherford natives, while Reggie’s Hen House offers one-of-a-kind pieces by local artisans. After you’ve finished shopping, be sure to stop into the Iron Skillet, they’ve been serving some of the best-tasting food since 1975.
